Amucci and Maus have both had their portrait painted by the very talented Layanna Barakhtina. We think they are wonderful. Both will be going onto a canvas :) Please click on the image for a bigger picture.
Our lovely little Maus (Stanrex Black Minnaloushe) attended his very first show, The joint Eastern Counties/Kensington Cat Club show on the 9th of July. What a well behaved and confident little Devon he was at just 19 weeks old. He won 1st place in both of his open classes :)
Introducing our new Boy, Stanrex Black Minnaloushe who will be known at home as Fledermaus (Maus for short!) he's a gorgeous little black smoke boy who's currently 15 weeks old. He's been here for just a few days, but already it seems like forever :) Click on the picture for a bigger image.
We visited the Midland Counties/Shorthaired Cat Society Cat Show on the 3rd of April. It was a long day, but one filled with success and lots of shopping for new toys and beds! Fleur (Nidoran Morning Glory) had a super day, gaining two CC's, challenge certificates, one in each show. She needs just one more to become a Champion now. Well done Fleur! Aroanui The Snap Dragon, Fleurs baby who's now 5 months old went along too. He is known as Theo to his friends and family. It was his first show and Im pleased and proud to say that he was awarded 1st place in his Kitten class by Judge Mark Pearman in the show he was entered for. What a sweet boy he is, he took it all in his stride and had plenty to say for himself in between naps! Many thanks to his owner Katie for taking him along. we very much hope to see him out again very soon :) Fleur just needs one more to become a Champion!
We now have a Facebook page. Come and visit us for new pictures, videos and stories about our Kittens. Please remember to 'like' us to get regular updates.
Most of my studio lighting and equipment is packed up and relocated to the garage when the Kittens arrive. My little studio becomes a nursery and is filled with toys, blankets and all things fluffy and soft! I do keep a little out though and its been causing great excitement for Fleurs babies. They know, the moment those lights come on that out come the big boy toys! sticks with feathers, jingly toys, dangly things and all of those exciting things that I wouldn't normally allow them to play with un-supervised. We have great fun, climbing in and out of tubs and pots and theres new things to explore and climb on too. Of course Im rewarded, they occasionally throw me a perfect pose! You can see some of our best photos in the The Nursery Gallery.
